How to Watch Live Basketball Streaming in 2026?

When we talk about "top-tier basketball," the NBA immediately springs to mind - just as "top-tier football" instantly makes us think of the Premier League. Unsurprisingly, much like the Premier League in the UK, the NBA can be watched in the USA, but it is subject to strict commercial blackout rules. Ironically, in other parts of the world, NBA streaming works anywhere, for any game.

Much like in tennis, live streaming via betting sites is arguably the best option for a "single service, many matches from different leagues" solution. So, let's look at the general situation regarding basketball streaming.

NBA Live Streaming

Let's start with the USA, the home of high-quality basketball. The NBA can be streamed in the US via NBA League Pass, but the application is constantly subject to blackouts depending on the user's location.

If you are in New York and want to watch a Knicks game, you cannot do it on League Pass. You have to choose a different provider. The big three are usually Peacock (Mondays, Tuesdays, Sundays), ESPN/ABC/YouTubeTV (Wednesdays, Saturdays, Sundays), and Amazon Prime (Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays).

However, if you are in New York and want to watch the LA Lakers on NBA League Pass, you can. Everything is blocked based on your physical location and the team playing in that specific city or state.

On our site, we generally do not list US channels due to this extreme complexity driven by commercial interests. A very good option to bypass local restrictions in the USA is fuboTV, which integrates several cable providers that broadcast the NBA. fuboTV is slightly more expensive than other options, but it offers a good compromise regarding the number of available games.

In some countries, certain NBA matches can also be watched live via betting sites.

In Europe, the NBA can be watched seamlessly via NBA League Pass. There are certain blackouts in countries where the NBA has sold specific matches to local networks (such as in Germany, Spain, Romania, etc.). However, we are only talking about a few select matches; the rest remain available via League Pass.

This exact same pattern repeats globally, yet NBA League Pass remains by far the best option for streaming the NBA outside of the USA.

Other Major Basketball Leagues

The EuroLeague would be the next top competition in world basketball, alongside the EuroCup. Live streaming is available on EuroLeague TV (global), with the exception of countries where the EuroLeague has already sold broadcast rights - in which case you must use the streaming service of the local cable provider.

The Spanish League (ACB) and the French League (LNB Pro A) can primarily be viewed via DAZN, which has signed a global distribution contract.

The Turkish League (BSL) and the Greek League (GBL) are generally only visible on EuroLeague TV when those teams are participating in European competitions. If not, the system is quite closed off and requires a subscription to a local provider. This is where streaming services from betting sites become very useful, as they often broadcast these two very important European leagues.

For major leagues in Latin America (Argentina and Brazil), there is Basquet Pass (global, accepts clients from any country) or YouTube NBB (for the Brazilian championship, but only viewable outside of Brazil). Again, betting sites offer an incredibly good alternative here.

National Team Competitions

Courtside 1891 is the streaming service of FIBA (International Basketball Federation) and handles streaming for all national tournaments, such as the World Cup, EuroBasket, and others. As far as we know, there is also the possibility to watch these matches via betting sites, but it is best to double-check this information.

What are the best options?

As you can see, streaming via betting sites is the simplest and cheapest method. While the geolocation issue (blackouts) still exists, you generally come out ahead. For the NBA outside of the United States, NBA League Pass works perfect, and in Europe, EuroLeague TV is a solid option.
